“Through the use of proper ‘Waste to Wealth’ management schemes the school campus to minimize its environmental footprint.”

This project emphasizes passive sustainable measures that are appropriate to the environmental, social and economic context. The project will set a new bench mark for sustainable school building design. The project aims to support both cultural and environmental sustainability. Through the use of proper ‘Waste to Wealth’ management schemes the school campus to minimize its environmental footprint.

Various methods of retaining rainfall water on site – such as planted roofs, open pavers and soak away drainage systems sustain the natural water table and minimize the cost of infrastructural development. With an aim to be as self-reliant as possible the school minimizes its use of grid supplied resources and instead look at operational practices and the encouragement of a responsible campus culture to curb the use of energy, water and the generation of waste materials.
