The Gateway Office building has been designed around two important axes; the axis focusing on Aso Rock and the cultural axis oriented towards the grand mosque. The Aso Rock represents the most dominant natural element of the city. This visual significance has been acknowledged in the broader city masterplan by making the axis towards the hill the most important factor in the urban design of the surrounding central business district.
A landscaped deck is situated above the main parking areas. This sheltered urban landscape is a quality setting for food and beverage outlets and retail zones. The public space in this project is shaded providing all year round open space for the users of the offices as well as outside visitors and clients.
